Albania, Kosovo applaud name deal adoption that will stabilize region
Albania and Kosovo have hailed the vote of the Greek parliament ratifying the Prespes name deal, saying it's a great contribution to regional stability.
A statement Friday from Albania's Foreign Ministry considered the vote a "key contribution to stability, development and Euro-Atlantic integration of the whole region."
Albania defends seizure of minority properties
Albania has defended a controversial decision to confiscate property belonging to ethnic Greek families in the south of the country.
On Tuesday, the Greek Foreign Ministry urged Tirana to annul the decision, which also involves the sale of minority property with an eye on tourism development, calling it a violation of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

Tirana blames extremism in deaths of four Albanians in Greece
Albania's Foreign Ministry has condemned the murder of four ethnic Albanians in neighboring Greece and denounced the hate speech propagated by the extremist Golden Dawn party.
A statement Wednesday called on Greek authorities "to denounce and put on a break any effort from the Golden Dawn or other extremist segments to violate Albanians' security and dignity" there.
Athens wants clarification on Albanian ban on Greeks
Greece has urged Albania to abstain from actions that fuel tension in bilateral relations after the Foreign Ministry in Tirana labeled 52 Greek nationals personae non gratae and banned them from entering the Balkan country.
The 52 were among hundreds who attended the funeral on Thursday of an ethnic Greek who was fatally shot in a gun battle with Albanian police last month.

Albania said Friday that 52 Greek nationals who turned out for the funeral of a dual Albanian-Greek citizen who was fatally shot in a gun battle with Albanian police during an annual celebration are considered "personae non gratae" and would not be allowed to enter the country again.

Russian Statement on Macedonia Infuriates Albania
Albania's Foreign Ministry on Monday said it had summoned the Russian ambassador, Alexander Karpushin, demanding clarification about a Russian statement on the recently reported armed incident in Macedonia.
Macedonian police on 21 April said that gunmen speaking Albanian had stormed a remote border police post near Kosovo and taken four police officers hostage before releasing them.
