BELGRADE -- The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) will apply for the role of an associate member or observer in the European People's Party (EPP), says Jadranka Joksimovic.
Joksimovic is SNS international secretary and minister in charge of EU integration in the current government.

Vucic to announce ministers' names at SNS main board session
BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic will announce the names of the new government's ministers at Friday's session of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Main Board in Novi Sad.
Vucic will speak to reporters after the closed-door session, the SNS press office has told Tanjug.
EU's Ashton Due to Meet Serbian Leaders
Ashton is due to meet Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia's future Prime Minister, on Monday, mainly to discuss the continuation of EU-mediated talks on normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, Balkan Insight has learned from an EU diplomat.
According to the diplomat, the two are due to discuss implementation of the April 2013 agreement on normalisation of relations.

BELGRADE -- Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić will nominate the country's next prime minister on Tuesday, April 22, it was announced on Thursday.
Nikolić will do so after the conclusion of the consultations he started with parliamentary parties, the president's media service said.
