Gov’t planning 60 initiatives to boost country’s openness
The government has set four priorities in its economic diplomacy, namely openness, foreign investment, promoting Greece's international presence and innovative projects, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis told an online event on Wednesday.
Halide Edip: Pillar of Turkish literature
Commemorated on the 57th anniversary of her passing on Jan. 9, 1964, Halide Edip Adıvar was a literary giant as the author of the first war novel in Turkish literature, as well as one of Anadolu Agency's founders.

Deree Business English courses for professionals
The Deree School of Graduate and Professional Education of The American College of Greece is organizing two online English courses for business professionals.

Two-day webinar on East Med cooperation
The Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and the Institute of Global Affairs of the American College of Greece are organizing a two-day webinar in English on "Problems and Prospects for Cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean."

American College of Greece closes after coronavirus case confirmed
The American College of Greece - Deree will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday following a confirmed case of coronavirus on campus, the private educational institution announced.
Oral business English classes at Deree
Deree, the School of Graduate and Professional Education of The American College of Greece, has announced it is offering a three-month course in oral business English every Friday from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m. from March 13.
The course ends on June 5.
The course will be hosted at 6 Gravias Street in Agia Paraskevi, northeastern Athens.

American College of Greece a ‘seed that flourished’
The American College of Greece (ACG) was founded in Smyrna in 1875 and was headquartered there until the Asia Minor Disaster in 1922, after which it moved to Greece on the invitation of Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos and opened in Athens in 1923.
