Tickets on sale for Bodrum Ballet Festival
The 20th Bodrum Ballet Festival will open on Aug 5 with the 'Harem' ballet to be staged by the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. The event will continue through Aug 17 in the historical places of Bodrum. Tickets for the festival are on sale at Biletinial.

Bodrum Castle to host music events
The fourth Bodrum Castle Events will kick off with the "Mediterranean Breeze" concert on July 16, with the Mersin State Opera and Ballet Orchestra, under the direction of Conductor Rustem Rahmedov, performing a program of popular songs accompanying Soprano Funda Uyanık and Tenor Hakan Aysev.

Turkish ballet dancer trains North Macedonian dancers
A former Turkish head ballet dancer from the Ankara State Opera and Ballet (ADOB) is training dancers in North Macedonia.
Bahri Gürcan said that he established a dancing school in the Turkish capital Ankara in 2007 and discovered talented children. His decision to open a school came after dancing abroad for years.
Famous Turkish fashion designer dies of cancer
Bahar Korçan, Turkey's well-known fashion designer who opened the country's first fashion design office in 1993, died on Nov. 11 at the age of 57.
The designer, who made clothes for Turkey's many acclaimed artists, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2016 and had been under treatment since then.

Ephesus Opera Ballet Festival to be held this month
The fourth International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival will be organized between Aug. 24 and Sept. 3.

The world popular ballet "Zorba the Greek" will take the stage for the last time April 29 and 30 after a six-year run in Ankara, said Volkan Ersoy, director of Ankara State Opera and Ballet in an interview with state-run Anadolu Agency.

Tchaikovsky’s music to play in ‘Romeo and Juliet’
