Antalya’s Necropolis Museum: Glass pathways to ancient world
The Necropolis Museum in the southern province of Antalya, which was once used as a bus terminal and market area, takes its visitors on a historical journey through glass walkways following excavations conducted in the area.

Necropolis area becomes a museum
The East Garage Necropolis Area, which was once a public market in the southern province of Antalya and where archaeological excavations started after the discovery of rock tombs, has been transferred to the Culture and Tourism Ministry.
With the project, which had a cost of approximately 292 million Turkish liras, the necropolis area has been opened as a museum.

Visitors rush to see returned treasures
Nine historic artifacts, including the Perge sarcophagus and the statue of Emperor Verus, that have been returned to Türkiye three months ago from the U.S., receive great interest from visitors at the Antalya Museum. Last year, 166,000 people visited the museum, according to figures.

Bull figure returns to Turkey
A bull figure from the Bronze Age, which was purchased half a century ago, has been sent to the Antalya Museum from Vienna.
Culture and Tourism Minister Ömer Çelik said a person named Manfred Weinwurm, who purchased the figure from Antalya, sent the historic artifact by cargo.
