Turkish doctors at Antalya's Akdeniz University performed the country's third double arm transplant in an 11-hour operation on Feb. 2, with initial reports indicating the recipient is in good medical condition.
Hotel construction in Phaselis canceled
After the remains of historic structures and human skeletons were found in the ancient city of Phaselis, located along the Mediterranean coast, the construction of a five-star hotel near the ancient city has been canceled by the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs.
Phaselis is also located within the Beyda?lar? Olympos National Park and aims to enter UNESCO's world heritage list.

Turkish court requests environmental report for five-star hotel near ancient coastal city
A Turkish administrative court has requested an environment impact assessment report (ÇED) for the construction of a five-star hotel near the ancient city of Phaselis along the Mediterranean coast, invalidating a previous decision by the Environment Ministry to exempt the project from the mandatory assessment process.
