Strong tremor hits near Thessaloniki
A 5.2-magnitude tremor has hit close to Thessaloniki.
The quake occurred at 7.03 p.m. offshore from the Halkidiki Peninsula at a depth of 15.9 kilometers, according to the Athens Institute of Geodynamics.
Two more tremors measuring 3.8 and 4.2, respectively, followed within four minutes of the main one. By 8.30, three more quakes, each of 3.2-magnitude, had been recorded.

Strong quake strikes central Mediterranean Sea
Scientists say a strong earthquake struck in the central Mediterranean Sea region early on Thursday.
The Athens Institute of Geodynamics gave a preliminary magnitude of 5.9, while the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said it measured 6.2.

Moderate quake strikes off Zakynthos
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 has hit the western island of Zakynthos, but no damage has been reported.
The Athens Institute of Geodynamics reported that the temor struck at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The epicenter was southeast of the coast of Zakynthos and at a depth of just 10 kilometers.

Strong Earthquake in Greece
A 5.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was registered in Greece on Thursday. The epicentre was in the Karditsa region, according to the Athens Institute of Geodynamics. The depth of the quake was 9 kilometers.
No material damage was reported.

4.1-magnitude quake strikes southeast of Hydra
A moderate earthquake struck in the sea area between the islands of Hydra and Serifos on Friday night, according to a preliminary reading of the Athens Institute of Geodynamics.
The epicenter of the 4.1-magnitude tremor was located 42 kilometers southeast of Hydra, at a depth of 13.1 kilometers.

Crete hit by 5.2-magnitude earthquake
The Greek island of Crete was on Wednesday struck by a 5.2-magnitude earthquake.
The tremor hit at 7.39 a.m. 23km northwest of the island's capital Iraklio and at a depth of 66.1km, according to revised data from the Athens Institute of Geodynamics.
Reports said the quake was felt across Crete, a popular holiday destination, and other south Aegean islands.

The Athens Institute of Geodynamics reported that the temblor struck at 1:49 p.m. (1149 GMT) Sunday. The epicenter was 16 kilometers (10 miles) east of Zakynthos and the depth was 23.2 kilometers (14.4 miles).

An earthquake with a revised magnitude of 4.5 has hit the western island of Zakynthos, but no damage has been reported.
