Picture of Renoir Was Stolen in Brazen Theft Ahead of Auction in Vienna
A picture of French Impressionist Renoir was stolen from a Viennese auction house, the Austrian police reported. The painting worth about 160,000 euros. Today it has to be put on action.
The picture is a landscape and has been taken off unnoticed by the wall where it was on display prior to the sale.
So far, there is no more information about the crime.

Bus Crash in Austria, Injuring 24 People
BERLIN NYT — Austrian police say 24 people have been injured when a bus carrying South Korean tourists crashed near the Alpine city of Salzburg.
Police in upper Austria say the Croatian driver and a South Korean tourist were seriously injured in Wednesday's crash, while 22 others suffered minor injuries.

"Torched car belonged to deceased Serb from Austria"
Ivanovic was shot dead from a moving car on January 16, in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. According to reports, this car was later found torched near the scene.
Rebic added that since being owned by the Serb - who is deceased - the vehicle was subsequently sold several times, and that the police were trying to find out who the last owner was.
Austrian Police Arrested Bulgarian Citizen Over Transporting 18 Illegal Migrants
Austrian police say they arrested a Bulgarian citizen at the border with Hungary, after 18 migrants were found in his truck, reported bTV.
In the truck were found 10 men, three women and five children. Migrants are from Iraq and the Palestinian Territories.
His name is not reported under the Austrian data protection laws.

The European Union's law enforcement agency Monday said 107 people have been arrested as part of a Europe-wide investigation into human trafficking and sexual exploitation, quoted by Daily Sabah.
Bosnia Runs Checks on Arrested Terror Suspects
Bosnian police have been asked to check the backgrounds of five people detained in Austria and their possible links to radical Islamist groups, BIRN was told by a Bosnian police source.
"We have received a request to check the backgrounds of these people - whether their Bosnian passports are valid and if there is anything illegal in their citizenships," said the source.

Austria Cracks Jihadist Network Linked to Balkans
Several suspects from the Balkans, including two Bosnian men, were among 11 people arrested on Thursday in anti-terrorism raids by police in the Austrian cities of Vienna and Graz, according to local reports.
Eight initial arrests reportedly included three Austrians, two Bosnians, a Syrian, a Bulgarian and a Macedonian, all of whom were male, according to a police spokesman.

Austrian Police Arrest 11 People Suspected of Links to IS
Austrian police have arrested 11 people suspected of links to the terrorist organisation Islamic state, reported Austria's information agency APA, citing the Prosecutor's Office.
Early on Thursday morning, police in Vienna and Graz launched a specialised operation involving 800 policemen. Tens of residential homes were searched.
Austrian Police To Give Out 6,000 Alarms Free-of-Charge
The Austrian police intend to distribute 6,000 pocket-size alarms in order to prevent attempts at sexual harassment.
"This is a nation-wide operation which will be carried out on the occasion of the celebrations at the end of the year and is intended mainly for women," announced an Interior Ministry representative, cited by AFP.
