Gov’t to impose restrictions on car sales
Some restrictions will be introduced for car sales to arrest the increase in car prices, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş has said, noting the respective regulation is ready.
Under the new regulation, companies, car rental firms, and car dealers will have to wait for a period of time to sell new cars they have bought, he added.

Finance minister holds meeting with exporters
Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati on Feb. 21 met with delegations of Turkish exporters and automotive distributors.
"We have held an inclusive consultation meeting on our recent policies and actual topics, particularly Turkey Economy Model focused on investments, production, exports and employment," Nebati said in a tweet.

Demand for new cars strong, says trade group
The current level of demand for new cars is strong and very pleasing, the head of the Authorized Automotive Dealers Association (OYDER) has said.
"The mood in the industry could be summarized as: 'Wish we had more cars at hand so that we could boost sales,'" Murat Şahsuvaroğlu told state-run Anadolu Agency.
