Inflation Rate Continues to Skyrocket in Turkey

As the prices of utility bills and taxes rose significantly due to an ongoing economic crisis and increasing energy prices, due to the War in Ukraine, monthly inflation was 5.45 per cent in March, an increase of 22.81 per cent compared to December 2021.

"Crypto-assets [may not be] used directly or indirectly in the provision of payment services and electronic money issuance," TCMB wrote in new rules published on Friday.
