In that period, 2,440 people were tested, 411 of which were positive, said the deputy director of the Batut Institute, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, at a news conference at the Palace of Serbia.
A total of people tested positive in Serbia since the first case appeared on March 6, was 4.465, while 3.006 are hospitalised, while 131 are currently on ventilators.

In Serbia, 1.893 people were tested in the last 24 hours, 238 of which were positive, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, Deputy Director of the Batut Institute, told a news conference.
2,107 patients were hospitalized and 136 were on the respirator.
"If we respect the imposed measures, the epidemic will be nearing the end"
As the deputy director of the Batut Institute said, right now we need to be as responsible as possible and respect the measures.
"If we continue to respect the measures, it is certain that this epidemic is nearing an end," Kisic said, answering questions on the press conference at Palace of Serbia.

This was pointed out by the Deputy Director of the Batut Institute, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, in the "Focus" on TV B92.
Despite the prognosis, the number of infected people is declining, Tepavcevic said.

Total number of persons tested in Serbia is 1715, while total number of confirmed cases is 528.
"Since the last address, there has been another death that can be linked to the coronavirus, so the total number of casualties is eight," says Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, Deputy Director of the Batut Institute.
