Serbia's Justice Ministry told BIRN Belgrade is seeking extradition of 120 person from other countries, while other states seek the extradition of 80 persons from Serbia.

One such case concerns the former Romanian MP and businessman Sebastian Ghita, who is wanted in Romania on several corruption charges.

The Serbian police announced on Tuesday that two persons have been placed under arrest for threatening the prime minister on social networks.

Later during the day, it was announced that the Belgrade Higher Court remanded in detention editor of the Belgrade-based Tabloid Magazine Milan Malenovic, aged 52.

The War Crimes Department of the Belgrade Higher Court has sentenced two former members of the Militia and Territorial Defense of Sotin, a village in Croatia.

They were put on trial on charges of killing 16 Croatian civilians.

BELGRADE - The Belgrade Higher Court sentenced to a 30-day detention seven individuals suspected of opening seven phantom companies through identity theft, and the list of companies includes firm Asomakum registered to a forged ID card of Andrej Vucic, the brother of the Serbian prime minister.

BELGRADE - The Belgrade Higher Court remanded owner of Interkomerc Goran Percevic in 30 day detention on suspicion that he was involved in fraud in Univerzal banka worth several million dinars.

Percevic was remanded in detention because of the danger that he may exert pressure on witnesses in the course of the investigation, states the release issued by the Higher Court of Belgrade.
