Bosnia’s Missing Persons Institute

A baby and a woman in her nineties were the youngest and oldest victims of Srebrenica to be buried so far, said Bosnia’s Missing Persons Institute as the 23rd anniversary of the mass killings approaches.

Bosnia’s Missing Persons Institute said the remains of at least five people, believed to be Bosniaks killed during the 1990s war, have been exhumed in the Trnovo municipality.

Bosnia’s Missing Persons Institute wants a new exhumation at the Kazani pit in the hills above Sarajevo because more bodies could be buried where the remains of over 20 war victims have been found.
