Two dead in first fatal Houthi attack on Red Sea shipping
Two seafarers were killed in a Houthi missile attack on a Red Sea Greek-owned freighter on Wednesday, British and US officials said, the first fatalities reported since the Iran-aligned Yemeni group began strikes against shipping in one of the world's busiest sea lanes.
Britain says Iran sanctions could be lifted next spring
British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said on Aug. 24 he expected sanctions on Iran could start to be lifted as early as Spring next year.
Speaking to Reuters on a visit to Tehran to reopen Britain's embassy in the Iranian capital, Hammond said he expected Iran and the United States could endorse the nuclear deal they reached last month by October.
UK to Reopen Embassy in Iran - British FM Hague
The United Kingdom's Embassy in Tehran is to reopen after a three-year pause, the British Foreign Secretary William Hague has announced.
Britain's Embassy will be open again "as soon as practical arrangements are made", the BBC quotes Hague as saying in a written statement.
