The U.K. has lifted a block on the bank account of the Turkish Embassy to London, which had been imposed due to a previous court decision taken by Greek Cyprus, Turkish prime ministerial sources speaking on condition of anonymity have told state-run Anadolu Agency.

Greek businessman Kyriakos Griveas and his wife Anastasia Vatsika were expected to face a magistrate in Athens on Thursday after a British court agreed to extradite them following a European arrest warrant issued by Greek authorities. The couple arrived in Athens on Wednesday and surrendered to authorities.
