Britain: Prosecution against Labour MP who punched passer-by (video)
A British MP was charged with assault today after he allegedly punched a passer-by, who he claims threatened him, after a night out on Friday.
Mike Amesbury was removed from the ruling Labour Party as he was recorded in CCTV and video footage punching a man and repeatedly hitting him after he collapsed to the ground.
Doyle-Price: Kearnes's statements do not reflect positions of UK gov't , parliament
BELGRADE - British MP Jackie Doyle-Price, who is heading a UK parliamentary delegation visiting Serbia, said on Tuesday statements by British MP Alicia Kearnes, who has accused the Serbian Orthodox Church of weapons smuggling from central Serbia to Kosovo-Metohija, did not reflect the official position of the UK government and parliament but a personal view.

PRISTINA - The Kfor mission said on Wednesday there was no evidence of alleged weapons smuggling to Serbian Orthodox churches in Kosovo-Metohija in ambulances via administrative crossings in the province.
