Yellow code for a strong wind has been announced in 16 districts Of Bulgaria, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The warning refers to Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Rousse, Razgrad, Silistra, Shumen, Dobrich, Varna, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik.

An earthquake of 4 on the Richter is registered this morning on the territory of Bulgaria. This was announced by the Seismological Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, NOVA reported.

The shock occurred at 6:55 am and was felt mostly in Sofia.

An earthquake is registered about 30 km north of Sofia, in the Svoge area. Its depth is 13.9 km.

Ancient Roman Gold Necklace Discovered by Archaeologists in Ancient City Heraclea Sintica in Southwest Bulgaria

A sophisticated Ancient Roman gold necklace from the 4th century AD has been discovered by a team of archaeologists excavating the Ancient Thracian, Greek, and Roman city of Heraclea Sintica, the ruins are located near the town of Petrich in Southwest Bulgaria.
