Bulgarian MPs Return to Work for No-Confidence Motion on Friday
Lawmakers will have to gather in Bulgaria's Parliament to debate and vote on a no-confidence motion against the government, Parliament Speaker Mihail Mikov announced.
They are due to convene on Friday to discuss a motion of no confidence introduced by the opposition GERB party over the energy policies of Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski's cabinet.

Bulgarian Parliament rejected on Tuesday President Rosen Plevneliev's veto on the Agricultural Land Ownership Act, hours after it was reversed by a committee.
Lawmakers defused Plevneliev's move by an absolute majority of 127, with none against or abstaining, as the opposition party GERB did not take part in the vote, Dnevnik.bg reports.

Bulgarian Parliament to Mark 135th Anniversary of Tarnovo Constitution
Bulgaria's Parliament will hold a ceremonial sitting to mark the 135th anniversary of the adoption of the Tarnovo Constitution.
The Tarnovo Constitution was Bulgaria's first Constitution. It was adopted on April 16, 1879 by the Constituent National Assembly held in the city of Veliko Tarnovo. It remained in effect until December 4, 1947, with amendments in 1893 and 1911.
