Validity of 2015 Vignette Stickers Expires on Sunday
The Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency reminds that the validity of the 2015 vignette stickers expires on Sunday.
New stickers can be purchased from more than 3300 points across the country including petrol stations, post offices, large retail chains, regional road authorities, border checkpoints.
No Roads in Bulgaria to be Closed for Repair During Holiday Period
The head of the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency (API), Lazar Lazarov, assured on Tuesday that no roads in the country will be closed during the forthcoming holiday period.
Lazarov added that all repair works, which have been carried out on the Trakia and Hemus motorways during the summer and autumn, have been completed and the renovated sections have been opened.
Early Launch of Struma Highway's Lot 4
The last 3 kilometers of lot 4 to the Struma highway will be opened for traffic on Thursday afternoon.
The two-way traffic will be allowed in order to alleviate international traffic passing through the villages Kulata, Chuchuligovo and Marino Pole, as announced by the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency.

Repair Works to Hamper Traffic on Danube Bridge at Bulgaria's Ruse
The traffic on Danube Bridge between the Bulgarian city of Ruse and the Romanian town of Giurgiu will be hampered due to repair works starting on the Romanian side.
The Romanian National Company of Motorways and National Roads informed the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency of the forthcoming repair works on the DN5 road.
Bulgaria May Temporarily Halt Hemus Motorway Construction
Lazar Lazarov, head of the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency, has said that the construction of a Hemus motorway section may be temporarily suspended due to a funding shortage.
