Bulgaria PM Reshuffles Deputies' Portfolios

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has decided to redistribute the specific porfolios assigned to the four Deputy Prime Ministers, the government's press office has said.

The move is related to the recent appointment of Meglena Kuneva, until then Deputy PM for institutional affairs without a ministerial portfolio, as Education Minister.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov assured on Thursday that the anti-corruption bill, which was rejected by parliament at first reading, will be resubmitted in three months.

The parties supporting the coalition government will be convinced to vote in favour of the bill and some corrections will be introduced to it, daily Dnevnik reports Borisov as saying.

The amended project for the strategy on prevention and countering corruption and organized crime s now completed.

The Ministry of Finance needs to outline the financial framework for the project, stated Deputy PM Meglena Kuneva in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio.
