Bulgarian Cabinet Adopts Draft Anti-Corruption Act
At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Bulgarian government adopted a draft law on the prevention of corruption and forfeiture of illegally acquired property.
The bill foresees the creation of united anti-corruption body - national bureau for prevention of corruption and forfeiture of illegally acquired property.

Bulgarian Government Reviews New Version of Anti-Corruption Bill
At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Bulgarian government discussed the edited version of the anti-corruption bill.
The draft law on prevention of corruption and confiscation of unlawfully acquired property will be presented on Wednesday to MPs from the two parties constituting the ruling coalition and the two parties supporting the coalition government.
Bulgarian Parliament to Discuss Anticorruption Law at First Reading
The Bulgarian Parliament will discuss at first reading the law on preventing corruption among high-level public officials on Friday.
The legislation has to guarantee that the fight against corruption will be conducted in a new way and through a new body.
Bulgarian Cabinet to Establish Council on Anti-corruption Policies
The Bulgarian government is to establish a national council on anti-corruption policies, which will be an inter-institutional body with consultative, coordinating and control functions.
The body will be established as part of the implementation of the new anti-corruption strategy, which was adopted in April.
