Turkish football club Galatasaray failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League after they lost to the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in the second leg of the second qualifying round on July 28.

Galatasaray to face winner of Celtic-Midtjylland match
The UEFA Champions League third qualifying round draw was made on July 19 in the Swiss city of Nyon.
Galatasaray will face the winner of the game between Scotland's Celtic and Denmark's Midtjylland clubs if the Turkish club eliminates PSV Eindhoven in the second qualifying round of the tournament.
Istanbul to host 2023 Champions League final
The 2023 UEFA Champions League final will be held in Istanbul, the governing body of European football announced on July 16.
The Istanbul Ataturk Olympic Stadium will host the 2023 Champions League final match, according to UEFA's official Twitter account.
The German city of Munich was originally to host the final that year. It will now be the site of the event in 2025.

An accident at an escalator in Rome that was caught on video Tuesday sent passengers speeding downwards and reportedly injured some 20 people, most of whom were football fans.
Seven people were reported to have been seriously injured, according to the Italian media, citing firefighters. None of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.
