The pilot of an airplane that skidded off the runway in Istanbul on Feb. 5, killing three passengers and injuring over 100 more, has been released from prison on condition of house arrest.
The plane flying to Istanbul from the Aegean province of İzmir veered off the end of the wet runway while landing.

Police detains at least 151 FETÖ terror suspects
Turkish police on Jan. 14 detained at least 151 people for suspected links to the FETÖ, the group behind the 2016 defeated coup attempt, security sources said.
The detentions came after the country's prosecutors issued detention warrants for 237suspects.

Arrest warrants out for 29 FETÖ-linked suspects
Turkish prosecutors on Oct. 30 issued arrest warrants for 69 suspects over their alleged links to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), the group behind the defeated coup of July 2016.
According to a statement by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in the capital Ankara, 29 suspects are accused of leaking police recruitment exam questions in 2011 to FETÖ-linked officers.

Former Istanbul police chief surrenders on Gülen links
Former Istanbul police chief Hüseyin Çapkın surrendered to police late on June 16 after a court in issued an arrest warrant earlier in the day for alleged links to the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ).
Çapkın arrived with his lawyer at the police station on Istanbul's Vatan Street to surrender.
