Serbia's Vinca Institute, China's IHEP sign agreements on cooperation
BELGRADE - Serbia's Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences and the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences signed on Monday two agreements on cooperation on projects aimed at further studies of the Higgs boson - also known as the God particle - to explain in more detail the structure of the universe and its future.

The world's oceans are heating up at an accelerating pace as global warming threatens a diverse range of marine life and a major food supply for the planet, researchers said Thursday, reports AFP.
The findings in the US journal Science, led by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, debunk previous reports that suggested a so-called pause in global warming in recent years.

China plans to send people to live on the moon
China’s ambitious plan to set up living spaces on the moon in the next two decades will see Chinese volunteers take part in a simulated space cabin for up to 200 days. Chinese President Xi Jinping called for the country to develop into a global power in space exploration, with plans to send a probe to the dark side of the moon and put astronauts there by 2036.
