SNS becomes first to submit electoral list for parliamentary polls

BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Milos Vucevic on Thursday submitted to the national electoral commission his party's electoral list for the December 17 parliamentary polls in Serbia.

The SNS thus became the first party to submit its electoral list, supported by 92,637 signatures.

Turnout in Belgrade at 7.24 pct by 10 am - Commission

BELGRADE - The voter turnout in Sunday's elections for the Belgrade city assembly was 7.24 pct by 10 am and the voting is underway without any problems for the time being, president of the City Electoral Commission Zoran Lukic said, denying allegations about subsequent voter registration at a polling station in the municipality of Mladenovac.

Turnout in Belgrade at 28.08 pct by 2 pm - Commission

BELGRADE - The City Electoral Commission said the voter turnout in Sunday's elections for the Belgrade City Assembly had been at 28.08 pct by 2 pm and that no major problems had been identified.

Commission President Zoran Lukic said the figure was nearly identical to the turnout at the same time in the 2014 parliamentary elections.

SNS wins 46.26 pct in Belgrade elections - Commission

BELGRADE - According to the first preliminary results released by the City Electoral Commission based on 18.6 pct of polling stations processed, or 12.97 pct of the electorate, the electoral list "Aleksandar Vucic - Because We Love Belgrade" won 46.26 pct of the votes in Sunday's local elections in Belgrade.

SNS wins most votes in 15 of 17 Belgrade municipalities

BELGRADE - The electoral list "Aleksandar Vucic - Because We Love Belgrade" has won the most votes in 15 of 17 municipalities in Sunday's elections for the Belgrade City Assembly, the City Electoral Commission announced Monday.

The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won the highest percentage of votes in the municipalities of Sopot (64.37 pct) and Mladenovac (61.37 pct).
