Parliamentary head urges X to open office in Türkiye
The parliament's digital media commission head has issued a warning to X, formerly Twitter, urging the social media platform to establish a representative office in Türkiye.
"We say, whatever conditions and norms you comply with in Berlin and England, we want them to fulfill these conditions in Türkiye as well," Hüseyin Yayman told private broadcaster CNN Türk.

Competition board to rule on car companies
Turkey's competition watchdog will soon announce its decision in a probe into automotive companies, Birol Küle, the head of the Competition Authority, said on Jan. 19.
"We may announce the result of the investigation on automotive companies next week," he told private broadcaster CNN Türk.

Nurses arrested over vaccine card scam
Acting on a tipoff, units from the department of financial crimes launched an operation in Istanbul, detaining six people, including three nurses, over a vaccine cards fraud, private broadcaster CNN Türk has reported.
