Bulgaria: Gas is Expected to be nearly 30% Cheaper in February, Heating and Electricity will Not Increase in price

Natural gas will be nearly 30% cheaper from February and will be sold for about BGN 130 per megawatt hour without taxes and levies. This was stated by the executive director of "Bulgargaz" Denitsa Zlateva during the price discussion at the energy regulator.

She also indicated the reasons for this reduction:

Bulgaria’s President blamed the "Petkov" Cabinet for the New Gas Price and Defended Talks with Gazprom

President Rumen Radev described as shocking the price of natural gas for September after returning from an official visit to the UAE. Yesterday, the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (EWRC) decided that it would rise the price by nearly 19% compared to August and make it BGN 353.21/Mwh.

Bulgargaz: Increase of about 17% in the Price of Natural Gas is Expected

"The estimated price of natural gas will be around BGN 350 (EUR 179), which is an increase of around 17 percent compared to the price for August," said Denitsa Zlateva, executive director of Bulgargaz, after the meeting of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation.

According to her, this is due to the increased stock market index.

Bulgarian Energy Regulator: The Price of Heat remains the Same for Now, It might Change from January 1
