Cuba gets first prime minister in over 40 years
Cuba's first prime minister in more than four decades -- long-serving tourism minister Manuel Marrero -- took office on Dec. 21 as the country resurrected a post last held by Fidel Castro.

Former Cuban President Fidel Castro (89) has addressed the 7th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
The gathering reelected his brother Raul to a new five-year mandate at the head of the party, according to Cuban media.

Fidel Castro: 'I don't trust the US, nor have I spoken with them'
