Top court temporarily blocks HDP’s treasury aid
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) will not be granted financial aid by the state for the year 2023 until the Constitutional Court finalizes the court case against the party that seeks its closure due to alleged links to the terror organization, the top court has said.

CHP to submit disinformation law to Constitutional Court for annulment
The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu criticized the "anti-disinformation regulation," which was published in the Official Gazette, and announced that his party would go to the Supreme Court on Oct. 18 to stop the execution of its article 29.

National Assembly codifies same-sex marriage, adoption
Ljubljana – The National Assembly signed same-sex marriage and adoptions into law by passing changes to the family code by 48 votes in favour and 29 against on Tuesday, capping decades of efforts by LGBT+ groups and activists to end discrimination and be recognised as equal members of society.
Proposal to allow mayors to serve as MPs rejected
Ljubljana – The National Assembly has voted down a proposal by the National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, to reverse the ban on mayors serving as MPs.
In proposing the overturn in November last year, councillors argued the ban had no basis in the constitution or the law.
