Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will be summoned to the prosecutor's office for explanations in connection with his allegations that there are about 20 people in Bulgaria who he believes are at the center of crime in the country, but the prosecutor's office has not taken any action.

The government has approved a strategy for public debt management for the period 2022-2024. This was announced by Prime Minister Kiril Petkov after the meeting of the Council of Ministers.

The Minister of Defense Stefan Yanev will propose to the government that Bulgaria join a joint NATO exercise with a battalion of no more than 1,000 people. This was announced by him on the Bulgarian National Television.

The governments of Bulgaria and North Macedonia held a joint meeting in Bulgaria at the Boyana Residence. Prime Ministers Kiril Petkov and Dimitar Kovachevski also spoke in private. The meeting comes just a week after the Bulgarian prime minister visited Skopje.

Tomorrow, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will convene a Security Council of the Council of Ministers. Earlier, GERB said that they were submitting 59 signatures, while 48 were needed, with a request to convene an extraordinary session of the National Assembly on the issue and to hear out Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, Defense Minister Stefan Yanev and Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska.

"We are opening a discussion and we have a proposal to abolish the green certificate as soon as we reach 60 percent vaccination." This was stated by Prime Minister Kiril Petkov at a briefing at the Council of Ministers.

Bulgaria will donate 258,570 doses of Comirnaty vaccine from Pfizer/Biontech to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the government decided.

"One of the biggest issues right now is the price of electricity and gas. The new measures will already be included in detail," Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said at the beginning of the Council of Ministers session.
