Luka Modric Probe 'Sends Warning to Perjurers'
Croatian former justice minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt said on Tuesday that the investigation into Real Madrid football star Luka Modric, suspected of giving false testimony in court about alleged financial kickbacks in his 2008 transfer from Dinamo Zagreb, should be a warning to people considering committing perjury.

Bosnia Ex-Minister Arrested in Major Anti-Graft Sweep
News agency Srna reports that former Bosnian interior minister Alija Delimustafic and the former bodyguard of wartime president Alija Izetbegovic, Jusko Skrijelj, were arrested in the major operation on Friday morning in East Sarajevo.
Dinamo Club Chiefs Face Charges in Croatia
Croatia's Office for suppression of corruption and organized crime, USKOK, on Wednesday raided the homes and office of the bosses of the Zagreb football club, Dinamo.
They said they suspect the club president, Zdravko Mamic, and manager Zoran Mamic of tax evasion, bribery and other unspecified criminal acts.

USKOK Wants Croatia Mayor Back Behind Bars
Croatia's Office for suppression of corruption and organized crime, USKOK, on Tuesday called for Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic to be taken back into custody until investigations into his alleged crimes are complete.
Bandic - currently on bail - is accused of using his period at liberty to influence a witness in his upcoming trial, forge documents and undermine the judicial process.
