Croatia’s Top Court Rules Same-sex Couples Can Foster
The Croatian Constitutional Court on Friday published a ruling made at the end of January that obliges courts and relevant authorities to give all competent appliers to foster equal opportunities, including same-sex couples.
That applies to couples "living in the informal and informal life partnerships," it said, referencing the legal term for same-sex marriage in Croatia.
Court Decrees More Rights for Serbs in Croatia’s Vukovar
The president of Croatian Constitutional Court, Miroslav Separovic, announced on Friday that the court had decided that the use of the Serbian language and Cyrillic script for official purposes in the Croatian town of Vukovar should be extended.
Court Frees Former Croatian PM Sanader
Former Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader left prison custody on Wednesday following a ruling by the Zagreb County Court that morning.
The county court decision came after Croatia's constitutional court terminated Sanader's custody on Tuesday, giving the county court until December 1 to pass a new decision. Sanader had been in prison since November 2012.

War crimes conviction against Croat politician canceled
ZAGREB -- Croatian Constitutional Court has overturned the ruling that the country's Supreme Court passed against Branimir Glavas.
Glavas is a former Croatian police official, army general, and member of parliament who was found guilty for committing war crimes against Serb civilians in the town of Osijek in 1991.

BELGRADE - Head of the Coalition of Refugee Associations Miodrag Linta said on Wednesday the most recent incidents in Vukovar where cyrillic parts of bilingual signs were covered by Croatian flags were a continuation of the production of fear and an attempt to maintain a warlike atmosphere.
