Ivo Sanader, the former Croatian Prime Minister, will leave custody prison in Zagreb after posting bail, following a Supreme Court ruling passed on Thursday.

Croatia has opened Bajakovo (Batrovci) and Tovarnik (Sid) crossings on its border with Serbia for all traffic, with no restrictions.

The Croatian Interior Ministry confirmed the news, saying that all vehicles "regardless of license plates" and all trucks can enter Croatia starting from 17:00 CET on Friday.

EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn has appealed on the Croatian government to end its blockade of the border with Serbia, closed last weekend to trucks.

Speaking during a joint news conference in Belgrade with Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, Hahn, who is in charge of EU's neighborhood policy and enlargement talks, also appealed on "everyone to disarm their speech."

Vulin: Croatia's border closure represents racism

Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) President Marko Cadez has called on Slovenian companies "to send a clear signal to the Croatian government."

It would concern Croatia's blocking of border crossings with Croatia that has been causing losses to everyone losses, he said.

Croatia ends blockade of cargo traffic on border with Serbia

Trucks were once again moving across the Batrovci border crossings between Serbia and Croatia on Tuesday afternoon.

The government will analyze the consequences of the Croatian government decision to impose a ban on freight traffic with Serbia, Nikola Selakovic said Tuesday.

The justice minister added that the Serbian government will also "look into all available countermeasures."

Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic says the Croatian government's response to the refugee crisis has undermined diplomatic relations with the country's neighbors.

"Of course relations have been undermined, the whole world is reporting about it, instead of us expressing solidarity," the Croatian president has been quoted as saying by the country's Hina news agency, and adding:
