Cost of construction materials in Cyprus rises further
An annual increase of 5.78% was recorded in the price index for construction materials for the period January-June 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, according to data published by the Cyprus Statistical Service (CyStat) on Tuesday.
The price index for construction materials for June 2023 reached 135.28 units (base year 2015=100).
Cyprus sees tourist arrivals soar in May
Tourism arrivals in Cyprus reached 420,076 in May 2023, compared to 315,018 in May 2022, recording an annual increase of 33.3%, according to data published by the Cyprus Statistical Service (CyStat) on Tuesday.

Q1 surge for tourism in Cyprus
Tourism arrivals to Cyprus went up by 61% during the first quarter of 2023, reaching 393,893, compared to 244,705 in the corresponding period of 2022, according to data published by the Cyprus Statistical Service on Tuesday.

House rates in Cyprus ease in Q4
Cyprus' House Price Index decreased by 4% in the fourth quarter of 2022 and amounted to 108.03 units, compared to the third quarter, when it was at 112.51, according to a preliminary estimate of the Cyprus Statistical Service (CyStat), published on Tuesday.

Cyprus sees more tourism cash in January
Revenue from tourism in Cyprus amounted to €45.6 million euros in January 2023, significantly surpassing the revenue from tourism in January last year, as well as in January 2019, a record year for Cypriot tourism.

Tourism revenues in Cyprus fell 85% in January-October
The Cyprus tourism sector saw an 85.1% drop in revenue over the first 10 months of the year, data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service (CyStat) on Wednesday showed.
Between January and October 2020, revenue from tourism is estimated at 376.3 million euros compared to €2.53 billion in the corresponding period of 2019, recording a decrease of 85.1%.
Cyprus tourist arrivals at an all time high
Tourist arrivals in Cyprus for the period of January - October 2018 increased by an annual 7.8 percent to 3.67 million, marking a new record for tourist arrivals for the first ten months of the year.
According to the Cyprus Statistical Service (Cystat), in October 2018 tourist arrivals amounted to 433,617 marking an increase of 6.6 percent compared with October 2017.

Cyprus gobbled 37 million litres of beer this year
Beer deliveries during the period of January - October 2018 reached 37.10 million litres, recording an increase of 3.6 percent compared to the same period of 2017, data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service on Tuesday show.
