Greta Thunberg Arrested in Copenhagen During Pro-Palestine Protest

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg was arrested by Danish police on Wednesday morning in Copenhagen during a pro-Palestine protest, as reported by Politico. Thunberg shared a video on Instagram showing the police entering the University of Copenhagen's administration building, where she and others were protesting.

Danish police announced that several people were shot and that one person was arrested in Copenhagen, while the mayor of the Danish capital assessed the situation as "very serious".
The police say that a 22-year-old Dane was arrested and that there are currently no indications that the detainee acted in cooperation with another person.

A 17-year-old Bulgarian was Killed in a Shootout in Copenhagen

Danish police said on Twitter that a 17-year-old Bulgarian citizen had died in a shootout in a Copenhagen district.

According to police, the boy was accidentally killed in a showdown between Kurdish gangs.

His family in Bulgaria was informed about the tragic incident.

The young Bulgarian arrived in the Scandinavian country earlier this year, Nova TV reported.

Headless Body Found in Copenhagen Waterside is Missing Journalist

Danish police on Wednesday identified a headless female torso found in the Copenhagen waterside as that of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, who police believe was killed on a home-made submarine, The Independent reports. 

"DNA match between torso and Kim Wall," the police said on Twitter, declining to comment further until a press briefing later at wednesday.
