NOVI SAD - Serbian Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic said Tuesday that 23 shops (bakeries, cake shops) owned or leased by ethnic Albanians were damaged across Serbia, and stressed that the police will solve each individual incident.

BELGRADE - Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic said Monday that more than 500 members of Serbian Armed Forces (VS) will participate in 13 UN and EU-mandated peacekeeping missions in the course of this year.

BELGRADE - The floods that hit Serbia in mid-May killed a total of 57 people, including 23 who drowned, and 31,879 people have been evacuated, the Serbian parliament’s Defense and Internal Affairs Committee said at a meeting they held Wednesday.

BELGRADE – The Serbian parliament has so far fully constituted 12 of a total of 19 of its committees in the new session.

One committee has still got no chair, one does not have deputy chair, and four committees currently have neither chair nor deputy chiar.
