Selahattin Demirtaş, the jailed co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), has expressed his happiness at receiving hundreds of letters from the supporters of other parties in the country, in response to questions submitted to him by the Ankara correspondent of the Dicle News Agency (Dihaber).

 A Turkish court has barred a leader of an opposition party from leaving the country, accusing her of "belonging to an armed terrorist organisation," the state-run Anadolu news agency reported Oct.29.

The satellite broadcast of IMC TV was blacked out on Feb. 24, following a public prosecutor's demand that its frequency be cut for "making terror organization propaganda."   

"There has been an interruption in the satellite broadcast of IMC TV. The reason has not been clarified yet," the small leftist station said in a tweet.

A plainclothes police officer has been captured on camera pressing his gun to the head of a journalist in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r who was filming police operations, Dicle News Agency (D?HA) has reported.

Turkey?s Press Council has lambasted the detainment of 32 journalists in a building in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r, where a news agency and a Kurdish publishing newspaper is located, saying that loutish attitudes towards journalists should be brought to an end. 

More than 100 websites have been denied access for purported links to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) since late July when conflict began once between the army and the PKK throughout the country, leading to numerous deaths on both sides.

Kurdish problem-focused Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) campaign bus in Turkey's eastern province of Bingöl was ranked by unknown attackers, body of driver Hamdullah Ö?e's was recovered twenty-five meters from the bus. 

The bus was found raked and abandoned, five kilometers from Bingöl's Karl?ova district, on the night of May 3. 

Bombs have hit two local headquarters of the Kurdish problem-focused Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in the southern Turkish of Adana and Mersin, weeks before the June 7 general election. Hidden in a cargo parcel and a gift-packaged flower pot, the two bombs injured at least three people on May 18.

A Turkish court has withdrawn an order to conduct an on-site investigation into a 1993 incident in which nine family members were allegedly burned to death by the military, announcing that it wanted to finish the case "inexpensively" and "as soon as possible."
