PM Golob going to Berlin on his first bilateral visit abroad
Ljubljana – Prime Minister Robert Golob will be on a working visit to Berlin on Tuesday to meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in what will be his first bilateral visit abroad. They will talk current issues and further cooperation between Slovenia and Germany.

Ljubljana – Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon will visit Berlin on Friday to meet her counterpart Annalena Baerbock. Fajon’s first bilateral visit will focus on the crisis in Ukraine, as well as bilateral cooperation, the EU and the Western Balkans, the Foreign Ministry said ahead of the trip.
Pahor congratulates Mattarella on new term
Ljubljana – Slovenian President Borut Pahor has congratulated his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella on being re-elected for another term in office, saying he was looking forward to their continued constructive cooperation for the benefit of the two countries.

Pioneer of diplomacy journalism in Turkey dies at age of 93
Prominent Turkish journalist Sami Kohen, who is known as the man "who introduced the foreign news editing to Turkish media," has died at the age of 93 in Istanbul.
Pahor and Mattarella to visit twin border cities next week
Ljubljana – The presidents of Slovenia and Italy, Borut Pahor and Sergio Mattarella, will visit Nova Gorica and Gorizia, the cities on each side of the Slovenian-Italian border, next Thursday to hail their title as the 2025 European Capital of Culture. On the occasion Pahor will decorate Mattarella with Slovenia’s top state honour.

New York – Slovenian President Borut Pahor and South Korean President Moon Jae-in exchanged state decorations as they held talks on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly meeting on Monday.
