A complaint was filed against a lawyer for "wishing God's mercy" on an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) suicide bomber in the southeastern province of Gaziantep.
Opposition HDP co-chair Demirtaş to appear in court 10 months after being arrested
Selahattin Demirtaş, the co-chair of the Kurdish issue-focused Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), will appear in court for the first hearing in his case on Sept. 6, 10 months after his arrest.
Demirtaş was arrested on Nov. 4, 2016 as part of an investigation launched by the chief public prosecutor's office in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır.
Jailed HDP lawmakers Beştaş, Aydoğan released
Two jailed lawmakers from the opposition People's Democratic Party (HDP) were released by the courts in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on April 21.
HDP Diyarbakır deputy Nursel Aydoğan and Meral Danış Beştaş, another lawmaker from the southern province of Adana, are being tried over terror charges.

Court rules for continuation of arrest of HDP co-chair Demirtaş
A court in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır ruled for the continuation of the arrest of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş on April 5.
The Diyarbakır Eighth Heavy Penal Court ruled for Demirtaş to remain in jail, where he is held on several charges including "managing a terrorist organization."
Arrested HDP co-chair Demirtaş asks for release
Selahattin Demirtaş, the arrested co-chair of the Kurdish issue-focused Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), has requested his release from jail in a petition written to the Eighth Heavy Penal Court in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır.
