Shut Your Eyes and See | Athens | November 27 – March 2

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation (13 Eratosthenous) in Athens will present a retrospective exhibition of Greek-born, Switzerland-based artist Nakis Panayotidis, titled "Shut Your Eyes and See." The exhibition features over 40 works highlighting Panayotidis' innovative use of materials like stones, tar, neon and photographs.

Jazz at the Museum | Athens | October 4 – March 3

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation (13 Eratosthenous) presents a series of jazz concerts under the artistic direction of Dimitris Tsakas, titled "Jazz at the Museum," from October 4 to March 3, 2025, combining jazz with visual arts. Once a month, jazz artists will perform in the foundation's amphitheater, with the concerts featuring a strong visual element.

Henri Cartier-Bresson | Athens | July 3 – October 27

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation (13 Eratosthenous, Pangrati, goulandris.gr) pays homage to legendary French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson with two distinctive exhibitions in collaboration with the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation. The first exhibition features 74 iconic images from his seminal work, "Images a la Sauvette," praised as a pivotal influence in photography.

Mindfulness at the Museum | Athens | February 16

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation's Museum of Contemporary Art (13 Eratosthenous), in collaboration with art historian, art educator and mindfulness instructor Lydia Petropoulou, presents "Mindfulness at the Museum." In this specially designed activity, participants will have the opportunity to practice mindfulness while studying selected works of art from the Foundation's collection.

Ceramic Jewelry | Athens | February 9-23

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation's modern art museum (13 Eratosthenous, Pangrati) is organizing a pottery workshop for people over 15 years old, in collaboration with ceramist Elpida Kourtzi, which will span three Fridays in February. Participants will make unique ceramic pieces inspired by the works of the B&E Goulandris Foundation Collection.

Neo-Impressionism and the Mediterranean

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation has collaborated with major European museums to present, for the first time in Greece, a comprehensive tribute to the Neo-Impressionist art movement, with a focus on the Mediterranean region. The exhibition, titled "Neo-Impressionism in the Colors of the Mediterranean (1891-1914)," will be on display from January 10 to April 7.

B&E Goulandris Foundation donates masks for health workers

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation has announced its donation of 50,000 protective masks to the Health Ministry.
According to the Goulandris Foundation, the gesture is a small token of gratitude and support for the work performed by National Health System doctors and nurses to combat Covid-19.
The masks will be used at five 24-hour health centers in Attica.
