Turkeyâs Council of State ordered a stay of execution Oct. 28 for a controversial bill that opened olive groves across the country for the construction of energy facilities, amid disputes between local producers and energy firms looking to open new plants.

The head of Bulgaria's energy watchdog DKEVR, Boyan Boev, and one of his deputies, Lilia Mladenova, resign, said the Energy Ministry.
Earlier on Thursday DKEVR said they saw no reason for resignations, but after a meeting with caretaker Energy Minister Vasil Shtonov, the two decided to resign.
