In the new bill prepared by the Justice Ministry, even though there are positive aspects, there are also quite a few concerning articles. 

It is as if the Justice Ministry wishes to normalize the laws made under the state of emergency and is consequently introducing amendments in criminal and procedural laws. 

Turkish journalist stands trial for 'insulting' president's son

Turkish journalist Soner Yalç?n appeared before court March 3 over allegations of insulting the president?s son Bilal Erdo?an in his book ?Lost Registry ? Erdo?an?s stolen case.?

Yalç?n denied the accusations during the trial in which he faces up to two years and eight months of prison with charges of ?insult via press or media outlets.?
