Greece has one of the oldest vehicle fleets in the European Union in all categories - passenger cars, light trucks and busses - with the average age reaching 13.5 years in 2015, according to data on that year from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA).

Bulgaria's commercial vehicle registrations rise 19% y/y in Jan
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles in Bulgaria rose by 18.5% year-on-year to 326 in January, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Thursday.
Data on registrations of medium and heavy commercial vehicles, buses and coaches in Bulgaria was not available.

Sales of New Cars in EU Up 11.2% Y/Y in August
In August 2015, demand for new passenger cars in the EU went up by 11.2% on the year, while Bulgaria registered a decrease by 4.9% over the same period.
According to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, the increase registered in August on an EU scale reflected the ongoing recovery in the market and pursuing the upward trend commenced two years ago.

Demand for New Passenger Cars in Bulgaria Increased in March
The demand for new passenger cars in Bulgaria in March increased by 21.4 % compared to the same month last year.
There was also an increase in the demand for new passenger cars for the first quarter of 2015, which amounted to 8.4 % compared to the same period last year.
Electric, Hybrid Vehicle Sales Increase in Bulgaria
Bulgaria reported on Wednesday a double-digit rise in the number of environment-friendly electric-powered and hybrid personal motor vehicles.
There were 497 electric-powered personal vehicles registered in Bulgaria at the end of last year, an increase of 36% on 2013.
New Car Sales in Bulgaria Grow 5.2% in 2014
New car sales in Bulgaria increased by 5.2% last year, just off the average growth of 5.7% for the European Union, official figures showed on Friday.
In 2014, new car registrations in the EU increased for the first time since 2007 after having been on the decline for six years in a row, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said in a statement.
