Europe's banks have called on European Union authorities to ease capital rules and other regulatory barriers to helping businesses struggling because of the coronavirus epidemic.

Greek police (ELAS) took part in the fourth European Money Mule Action (EMMA 4), a large-scale police operation from September 1 to November 30, which saw the participation of law enforcement officials from some 26 countries, including non-European countries, Australia and the US.

Wim Mijs, chief executive officer of the European Banking Federation, was in Greece this week to take part in the Balkans and Black Sea Cooperation Forum in Serres. The federation unites 32 national banking associations in Europe, representing some 4,500 banks.
