"At this stage, Bulgaria will not take part in the EU's initiative for the immediate transfer of 155 mm caliber ammunition, as it does not have such guns, but we do not exclude the possibility that the European Defense Agency may entrust the production of such ammunition to Bulgarian companies".
Bulgaria will No Longer Stop Ammunition that it Produced to go to Ukraine
Bulgaria will no longer set conditions for ammunition produced on its territory, intended for other countries, not to go to Ukraine.
This became clear from the answer that the Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev gave to a question of Bulgarian media "Club Z".
Tagarev participated in a two-day meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.
The Countries for Collective Purchase of Ammunition are Now 24 - Bulgaria is Not Among Them
The number of countries participating in the European Defense Agency (EDA) coordinated munitions collective purchase project announced a week ago has reached 24.
Among them are 23 countries from the European Union and Norway. Bulgaria does not participate.

Senior defence official Nasta attends FAC, EDA Steering Committee meetings
Senior official for defence policy, planning and international affairs with Romania's Defence Ministry (MApN) Nicolae Nasta will be attending, 13 - 14 May, along with defence and foreign ministers of the EU member states, a Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) meeting and a meeting of European Defense Agency's (EDA) Steering Committee in the format of defence ministers to be held in Brussels.

Speaking at the European Defense Agency (EDA) annual conference, the EU foreign policy and defense chief said that 23 member-states have confirmed their readiness, while they would soon be joined by more.
"We are building the European Union of security and defense. It's not a plan any more. It's not a dream any more. It's reality coming true," Mogherini said in her address.
Int'l Defense Exhibition in late June
BELGRADE - An international fair of armaments and defense equipment, PARTNER 2015, will be held at Belgrade Fair from June 23 to 26.
The exhibition is expected to bring together a large number of Serbian and foreign exhibitors.
