Make more houses available for subsidized loans, professionals demand
Real estate market professionals say that, to succeed, the second round of mortgage subsidies should significantly raise the value of homes eligible for subsidized rates. This would widen the pool of available properties, they say.

Judging by the plans of Greece's biggest banks to use their central Athens properties to relocate their offices or to otherwise use them commercially, one can be excused for being under the impression they want to turn Stadiou Street, one of the capital's main streets and the one where commercial properties were hardest hit by the financial crisis, into a mini City of London.

More than 36,000 interactive whiteboards to be installed
More than 36,000 interactive whiteboards will be installed in all elementary, middle and high schools.
The €150 million project is being financed by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Fund. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday visited a primary school in the northwestern Athens suburb of Agioi Anargyroi, which has been equipped with the boards.
