Cadaver shortage hinders medical education

The Senate of Sarajevo University revoked the teaching contract of Sebija Izetbegovic, director of the Sarajevo Clinical Centre and professor at the Faculty of Medicine in the Bosnian capital, removing her as a full professor at the Faculty of Medicine on Wednesday.

The ceremony started at 10 a.m. and was attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui, who at the beginning greeted the young officers in front of the Serbian Parliament with "Officers and cadets, hello!"
After this, the national flag was raised and the hymn "God of Justice" was performed.

Sofia University Cancelled all Classes at the Medical Faculty in Protest

Sofia University has terminated all classes and internships for all specialties at the Faculty of Medicine.

The action is in protest against the decision of the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov to transform the Lozenets Hospital by merging it into the Children's Hospital "Prof. Ivan Mitev".
