Yayci, architect of Turkey’s Libya policy, reportedly removed from post

Rear Admiral Cihat Yayci, architect of Turkey's policy on Libya and maritime borders in the Mediterranean Sea, has been removed as Chief of Staff of the Turkish Navy, according to reports in the Turkish media.

The reasons behind the decision, which was reportedly signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan late Friday, have not been officially confirmed.

Report reveals how Gülenists syphoned money from public companies

A recent report by the Turkish Police Academy has revealed the methods members of the Fethullah Gülen movement allegedly used to defraud public sector companies, including the state-run television channel TRT, hospitals, universities and schools. 

The Gülenists caused an estimated 300 million Turkish Liras in losses at TRT, according to the report.

191 judges, prosecutors suspended over claims of Gülen links

The Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office launched a probe against more than 190 judges and prosecutors on Dec. 1 over their alleged links to the Fethullah Gülen movement, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.    

A total of 191 judges and prosecutors were suspended as part of the investigation, said a judicial source.

Court accepts first Ankara indictment against coup attempt activities

Eighteen suspects involved in a deadly raid on Gölbaşı Special Forces Commandership in Ankara on the night of the July 15 coup attempt, believed to have been orchestrated by the Gülen movement, face multiple sentences of aggravated life imprisonment after an indictment was accepted on Dec. 1.
