Iran will allow women to visit the stadium for the national qualification of the national football team against Cambodia on October 10 in Tehran.

This was announced by the country's sports ministry after FIFA threatened their federation with fines if they did not soften the rules for women's attendance at matches.

Along with tiny Gibraltar, the Kosovo team is the youngest in Europe, having been admitted to the world football federation, FIFA, and to Europe's UEFA, only three years ago.

Whatever the reason, on April 27, nationalists gathered in front of the bakery, shouted nationalistic slogans, played Serbian patriotic songs and put stickers reading "Kosovo is Serbia" on the windows.

Groups of them twice stormed into the bakery but were escorted out by police, who secured the premises.

The Government on Wednesday approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the submission of a joint candidacy of Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece for the organisation of the European and World Championships of 2028 and 2030 respectively, said the spokesperson for the Government, Nelu Barbu.

The Cabinet has proposed a Memorandum of Understanding between Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Romania on the European Football Forum, reported NOVA TV. 

Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas are the only Bulgarian cities that can host matches at the two football championships for which Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Serbia are preparing. Representatives of the four countries met today in Boyana.

AEK will bid on Sunday to become the third Greek club to win FIBA's Intercontinental Cup, after beating San Lorenzo from Argentina 86-64 in the tournament's first semifinal on Friday in Rio de Janeiro.

In Sunday's final AEK will face the winner of the second semifinal between the Austin Spurs and Flamengo.
