Vehicle fire in Nikaia causes traffic diversions
A vehicle caught fire on Monday afternoon on Petrou Ralli Street in the suburban Attica district of Nikaia, causing traffic diversions.
Ten firefighters with four vehicles are working to extinguish the blaze, according to the Fire Department.

Very high fire risk on Sunday in Attica and 5 other regions
Authorities are asking citizens to pay special attention on Sunday due to the very high risk of fire (risk category 4) in Attica and 5 other regions.
Fire Department: Stage 2 Operational Readiness implemented due to fire risk
The fire risk is very high for six districts of Greece tomorrow according to the Fire Risk Forecast Map issued by the General Secretariat of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Climate & Civil Protection.

Wildfire breaks out in Chios island, village evacuated
A wildfire broke out in the Resta region of Chios island, on Friday.
Ground and aerial firefighting forces have been deployed in the area, while residents of Karyes received a message from the 112 to evacuate.
A total of 55 firefighters with 13 vehicles are participating in the operation, while five aircrafts and one helicopter are also on spot.
